Crackle Decanter

This Decanter is made from a white stoneware with crackle slip, iron wash and green celadon glaze.  It is wheel thrown and altered and multiple-fired; the final firing in a wood/soda kiln to 1300c.  The handle is carved diamond willow (oil penetrated and from our property) tied with copper wire. Each piece is unique; a reflection of our approach to the work and firing processes.

Due to the wood and copper, this item is not oven proof, not dishwasher safe and not microwavable.  Hand wash only.
