Crackle Teapot

This Teapot is made from a white stoneware with crackle slip, iron wash and green celadon glaze.  It is wheel thrown and altered and multiple-fired; the final firing in a wood/soda kiln to 1300c.  The handle is carved diamond willow from our property, penetrated with oil and tied with copper wire. Each piece is unique; a reflection of our approach to the work and firing processes.

Do not put on stove (this is not a kettle). Due to the wood and copper, this item is not oven proof, not dishwasher safe and not microwavable.  Hand wash only.

SHIPPING: Cost of shipping to addresses within Canada and the continental United States is included in the price.
