Basket Vase (Black Crackle)

This Flower Basket is made from a stoneware clay with cobalt slip and crackle white glaze decoration.  It has been fired in a wood/soda kiln to 1300c. The handle is carved diamond willow from our property, penetrated with oil and tied with copper wire. Each piece is unique; a reflection of our approach to the work and firing processes.

Due to the wood and copper, this item is not oven proof, not dishwasher safe and not microwavable.  Hand wash only.
