Spoon & Sugar Jar

This Spoon & Sugar Jar (can also be used for jams, condiments etc.) is made from a white stoneware clay with slip decoration.  It has been fired in a wood/soda kiln to 1300c. The handle is carved diamond willow from our property, penetrated with oil and tied with copper wire. Each piece is unique; a reflection of our approach to the work and firing processes. 

This piece was inspired by the spoon collection Enzien inherited from her mom; and Christian designed a piece around them. 4 silver plated spoons are a gift to you from that collection.

Due to the wood and copper, this item is not oven proof, not dishwasher safe and not microwavable.  Hand wash only.
