Window Vase (Wall Vase)

This Wall Vase is made from a stoneware clay with slip decoration; the shell markings are from freshwater clam shells reacting with the surface creating 'man-made fossil' imprints.  It has been fired in a wood/soda kiln to 1300c.  Each piece is unique; a reflection of our approach to the work and firing processes.

It has multiple windows for flower arranging and a hole to hang on wall if desired. (One of Christian's signature works which are also in the Alberta Foundation for the Arts.)
